Can I set business hours?
Yes. Business hours determine when you and your team are available to take calls. When your business is closed, calls are forwarded to after-hours voicemail by default. You can customize these settings anytime.
What happens when someone calls after business hours?
After-hours calls can be automatically sent to after-hours voicemail, or routed to a specific teammate, like an after-hours operator. Missed after-hours calls and texts are flagged with a moon icon so nothing falls through the cracks.
Can I change my phone menu at any time?
Yes. You can add, edit, or remove call menu options as your business changes. Just make sure your welcome greeting matches the current menu so callers always know which option to press.
If I’m routing calls to team members, how will their phones ring?
You can control ring behavior for routed calls as you wish:
• Simultaneous: All phones ring at the same time until someone picks up.
• Sequential: Phones ring one by one in the order you choose.
• Round-robin: Phones ring one at a time to evenly distribute calls based on previous call activity.
Does Auto Attendant work for teams in different locations?
Yes. LinkedPhone is built for mobile and remote teams , so teammates can handle business calls from mobile phones, computers, compatible VoIP and SIP desk phones, and even landlines.
Can I have separate voicemail boxes for different departments or team members?
Yes. You can create as many voicemail boxes as your business needs — one for sales, one for support, one for billing, etc.
Can I create submenus?
Yes. You can build branching sub-menus so callers drill down to exactly the right person or department, just like enterprise phone systems. For example, Press 2 for Support, then Press 1 for Billing.
Is Auto Attendant right for solo business owners too?
Solo owners can use Auto Attendant to sound more established, protect personal time with business hours, send common questions to recorded messages, and route important calls directly to themselves.
